Traffic closed on Prakasam Barrage

Vijayawada: With the heavy inflow of floodwater, the Krishna district Collector has ordered to stop the traffic movement on Prakasam Barrage. The floodwater is flowing above from the gates of the barrage.

On the other side, Krishna floods have reached to the homes, fields at Karakatta area in Amaravati. The floodwater also touched Pushkara Nagar at Pavithra Sangamam in Ibrahimpatnam.

If the flow continues to increase, then there is a possibility of the water coming up on to the road in Ibrahimpatnam. With this, the low laying people are raising concerns.
