Rain is likely to occur in some parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, following cyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal. The sky will probably remain overcast, with isolated rain and thunder showers.

Light to moderate rainfall, lightning, and gusty wind activity is predicted in parts of Anakapalli, Kakinada, Konaseema, and West Godavari districts of Andhra Pradesh state on Sunday, 4 October 2026. Wind speed will be up to 30–40 km/h.

Citizens, especially farmers, have been warned about the precautionary measures. The fishermen were warned against venturing into the sea and urged those who were in sea to return immediately.

Gusty winds, lightning, and thunderstorms are possible in isolated parts of Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts of Telangana state. Dry weather will prevail in other parts.

Maximum temperatures are likely to be around 31°C to 32°C, while the minimum temperature will be between 22°C to 23°C.
