Continuing the commitment on recruitment to fill all the vacancies in various departments of the State government, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy
Amaravati: Continuing the commitment on recruitment to fill all the vacancies in various departments of the State government, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy directed the officials to follow the Recruitment Calendar. He held a review meeting with concerned officials on Friday at CM Camp Office at Tadepalli in Guntur district.
Chief Minister directed the officials to prioritise filling posts as per the requirement in the Medical and Health Department and stick to the calendar.
During a review meeting here on Friday, the Chief Minister directed the officials to fill all the vacancies in the hospitals as their functioning would become redundant without adequate staff.
Funds are being allocated for the upkeep of the hospitals under Nadu-Nedu programme which can be utilized for the recruitment of doctors, nurses, lab technicians and pharmacists.
Like that the funds, which will be allocated for schools as part of Nadu-Nedu programme which can be utilized for the recruitment of teachers and other staff. Only then will the Amma Vodi programme and mid-day meal scheme be successful in the long run.
In the case the weekly off given to the policemen, the Chief Minister said that it should not lead to a decrease in their efficiency.
Importance should also be given to filling the posts in the revenue department and to provide adequate equipment to the survey staff. The officials said that a plan of action would be prepared for filling up of the posts in all departments in the next three weeks.
The officials said they would meet the Chief Minister again on February 21 and discuss the action taken to fill all posts. Minister Kodali Nani, chief secretary Neelam Sawhney and DGP Gowtham Sawang were among those present.
