Warangal: Speed up lake beautification

Warangal: The work on Bhadrakali Lake Foreshore Development Project needs to be speeded up, Warangal Urban District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu said. The Collector, who along with Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) Commissioner Pamela Satpathy, inspected the Bhadrakali bund beautification works on Friday, discussed about the Phase-II works with the officials.

Referring to the walkers track to be constructed under Phase-II, he said that there was no need for laying granite stone as it likely to cost more. He told them to take measures to illuminate the track in the nights. Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA) Project Officer E Ajith Reddy and EE Bheem Rao were among others present.
