Regode: Drive against illiteracy underway

Regode: The programme of identifying children outside school has been continuing in the mandal. As part of the programme, three children were admitted in a primary school and one at ZP high school in Gajawada.

Speaking on the occasion, CRP Ravi said that the children who were not attending schools were being identified and being sent to schools. He said parents were also showing interest as English medium is also available in government schools and students are given snacks, uniform, mid-day meals etc. Headmaster Raghunandan Reddy, SMC chairman Narsimhulu and others were present.
