Rains forecast today : Met department bulletin

Medak: The upper air cyclonic circulation over the west-central and adjoining north-west Bay of Bengal off the north Andhra Pradesh¬-south Odisha coasts now lies over the West-central Bay off the Andhra coast.

Under its influence, a low pressure area is likely to develop over the West-central Bay and adjoining areas of the coastal Andhra Pradesh during next 24 hours, the Met department bulletin said on Tuesday.

This is expected to bring rain. According to the bulletin, a trough runs from the cyclonic circulation over the West-central Bay to the north-west Madhya Pradesh.
