Rains likely from today

Sangareddy: The Met Department bulletin warned of heavy rain very likely to occur at isolated places in Siddipet and 19 other districts on September 17, 18 and 19. The rain is being attributed to an upper air cyclonic circulation which lies over the west-central and adjoining north-west Bay of Bengal off the north Andhra Pradesh¬ and south Odisha coasts.

The bulletin said the Southwest Monsoon has been normal over Telangana during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Monday. Rain occurred at a few places in Sangareddy, Rangareddy, Medak, Siddipet districts.

There was four cm rain each of in Narayankhed (Sangareddy) and Hayathnagar (Ranga Reddy), Tekmal (Medak), Doultabad (Siddipet) 3 each, Rajendranagar 2. One cm of rain each occurred in Regode (Medak), Sangareddy, Saroornagar (RR), Sadasivpet , Kondapur, Kohir (all Sangareddy), Golkonda (Hyderabad) 1, Papannapet, Alladurg (both Medak) and Maheswaram (RR).
