Money spent on students is an investment not expenditure: MLA Ravi Shankar
Choppadandi: The government is treating every rupee that is spent on students as an investment not as expenditure, said MLA S Ravi Shankar while inspecting the Gurukul Residential School for girls at Choppadandi mandal in Karimnagar district on Saturday.
Interacting with students, the MLA enquired them if they have any problems and also asked them whether the arrangements of meals were done on proper timings or not. MLA also enquired the students about other facilities that are provided for their convenience them such as washrooms, fans in the class rooms and the drinking water facility.
MLA Ravi Shankar said that there are minor problems in the schools which will be solved as early as possible. As the school belongs to SC and ST students, the students who study well by utilising the facilities provided in the schools have greater possibilities of acquiring good positions in future.
