Inter Advance Supplementary exams from June 7 to 14
Hyderabad: The Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Theory Examination (IPASTE) of June -2019 will be held from June 7 to 14 at 857 examination centres across the State.
Addressing media here on Tuesday, Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE), Secretary A Ashok said 4,63,236 students of first and second intermediate course are registered to appear in the examinations.
In the first year intermediate examination, out of 3,00,847 students, 1,48,463 students applied for improvement, and 1,52,384 more students, who failed in the year-end examinations, also applied to appear for examination.
Similarly, 1, 62,389 students of the second intermediate are expected to appear for the IPASTE and all necessary arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of the examination, he said.
The first year examinations will be held in the morning session from 8.45 am to 12 noon and the second year examinations will be held in the afternoon from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. Students will be not be allowed to enter into the examination hall beyond 9 am in the morning session and after 2.30 pm for the afternoon examination.
The District Examination Committee with DIEO as the nodal officer and the District High Power Committee with District Collector as its chairman will oversee the conduct of the examinations.
In addition to this, 50 flying and 200 sitting squads have been formed to check the malpractices. The RTC authorities have been requested to ply buses to facilitate students to reach to the examination centres and to transport them back to their homes.
Similarly, the power utilities have been asked to ensure uninterrupted power supply. Steps have also been taken to provide drinking water and medical facilities.
As part of the anti-copying measures, Section 144 CrPC will be in force around the examination centres, xerox centres in the vicinity would be shut down during the examination hours. That apart, no one, including the Chief Superintends of the examinations are allowed to carry mobiles, he said.
Ashok said students can download their hall tickets from the Board website "bie.telangana. gov.in" from 5 pm on Tuesday.
That apart, students can also download the hall tickets from the TSBIE mobile app. Students can also figure out the route map of their examination centres by keying their hall ticket numbers.
