Hyderabad: Fish food festival from Feb 28

Basheerbagh: Hyderabad district fisheries cooperative society is organising fish food festival at NTR Stadium from February 28 to March 1. This was announced at a programme to release the event poster by the leaders of the society here at Press Club on Sunday.

Speaking to media, president of the society Koppu Padma said the festival will be inaugurated by Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Telangana minister for fisheries. The festival will have a host of fish foods such as fish biryani, jowar roti, ragi sankati, 'chepala pulusu,' fish cutlet, fish lollipop, fish dilpasand, fish roll, fish samosa, fish balls, fish vadiyalu, fish Jantikalu, fish appadalu, she said. About 100 different fish recipes would be available at the festival, she said. The festival, which is organised with a slogan 'Fish food is nutritious - Eat fish food' is being organised by women on the occasion of world women day, she said.
