House and Preventive arrests of Opposition leaders obstructed Maha dharna at Inter Board

City police house arrested Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) Chief Professor M Kodandaram at his house at Tarnaka. They deployed large number of police personnel in front of his house to thwart any untoward incident. Police said his detention will continue till 5 pm today.

Since the opposition parties Congress, TJS and CPI planned for a large protest in front of Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) at Nampally, police under their preplans house arrested many of the key leaders and made preventive arrests of parties second grade leaders, party workers and followers in their respective police station limits and created obstructions to the Maha dharna of the opposition parties to a larger extent at Inter Board.
