Nalgonda: TJS supports Bharat bandh says Kodandaram
Nalgonda: TJS president Prof Kodandaram stated that Telangana Jana Samiti has been fighting on behalf of the victims for justice. Speaking to the media here on Monday, he stated that TJS is opposing the Essential Commodities Act, the Contract Agriculture Act and the laws of agricultural markets as these will incur great loss to the farmers.
He said the concept of selling or buying farm produces anywhere in the country is not good and the farm produces will go into the clutches of corporates.
TJS is expressing solidarity to the protesting farmers in Delhi and extending full support to the nationwide bandh on Wednesday, he stated. Everyone must extend their cooperation to the farmers in protecting their rights, he urged.
Kodandaram demanded the State government to fulfil the flood relief promise given to GHMC people before the elections.
