Delhi Election Results 2020 Live Updates: AAP Sweeps Delhi, Congress at Zero

According to Election Commission's official numbers, the trends for 40 seats show AAP victorious on 26 seats, while the BJP is leading on 14 seats.

AAP's Atishi, Amanatullah Khan and Manish Sisodia are trailing as per the latest trends.   

Kejriwal is leading by over 2,000 votes from the New Delhi constituency 

Aam Aadmi Party is leading on 35 seats, while the BJP is leading on 16. The Congress is yet to open its account.

The counting for the Delhi Assembly elections has begun. In the three-cornered battle for power in the national capital, CM Kejriwal's Aam Admi Party is looking for a return to power, while the BJP is confident of taking over the power from the incumbent AAP.   

Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari says, "We are sure that the people of Delhi will side with us. I stand by my figure of over 48 seats for the BJP." 

Confident of BJP's victory, party's Delhi unit chief Manoj Tiwari says that the BJP will be coming to power today. "I am not nervous. I am confident that it will be a good day for the BJP. We are coming to power in Delhi today. Don't be surprised if we win 55 seats," he says.
