10.6 per cent voter turnout in Telangana in till 9 am: CEO Rajat Kumar

The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Rajath Kumar said that the overall voter turnout in Telangana is 10.6 per cent till 9 am.

Rajath said that besides two or three polling stations in Nizamabad where the replacements have been done resulting in a delay, the polling is underway on a peaceful note and all the EVMs are working effectively in the constituency.

Medak witnessed the highest voter turnout of 13.5 per cent till 9 am followed by Warangal with 10.1 per cent voter turn out.

The polling is underway in Telangana for 17 Lok sabha constituencies.
