Telangana State School Education Dept issues circular on LPTs, PETs

Hyderabad: Telangana State Directorate of School Education (TSDSE) asked the District Education Officers (EDOs) to take necessary steps as per the State government's order upgrading Language Pandits (LPTs) and Physical Education Teachers (PETs).

In a circular issued on Sunday, Director of School Education T Vijaya Kumar said a total of 6,143 LPTs and 802 PETs posts in the Mandal Primary and Upper Primary Schools (MPUPS), Zilla Parishad and Government High Schools have been upgraded as School Assistants (SA).

Accordingly, they are placed in the pay scale of 28940-78910 in the Revised Pay Scales, 2015 and further instructions will be issued in due course, he added.
