Teary farewell

Arvapally (Suraypet): As many as 11 houses and shops are going to be razed near Jajireddygudem Road in Arvapally mandal headquarters after February 1 for widening of Nakrekal- Thanamcharla national highway.

Officials concerned have already paid compensation to the victims and has gave February 1 as deadline to vacate their houses and shops. In view of this, a victim, Pulicharla Uma Maheshwar, showing his affection and attachment towards his house has decorated it beautifully on Monday and performed special pujas.

He ran the shop attached to his house for a long time to earn bread and butter. He decorated the house with beautiful flowers and garlands as countdown for vacating the house has begun.
