HRDCL gives thumbs up to pedestrian bridge design
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Road Development Corporation Limited (HRDCL) on Monday approved the architectural drawings of the proposed iconic pedestrian bridge opposite to Salarjung Museum at an estimated cost of Rs 231.5 crore. Chief Secretary SK Joshi, who is also HRDCL Chairman, chaired the 5th Board meeting here.
The board also ratified the proposal to establish multilevel car parking at Quli Qutub Shah complex and construction of additional bridge for accommodating fruit vendors in between Nayapul and its adjoining bridge.
The consultants submitted the revised layouts, architectural plan and detailed project report which were placed before the board of directors for approval. The board decided to invite tenders for the works on Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode.
Principal Secretary to Municipal Administration Arvind Kumar, HRDCL Chief Engineer Mohan Naik and other senior officials attended the meeting.
