Singareni Collieries Company Limited to ramp up coal production

Kothagudem: With the rising demand for coal, the company needs to ramp up production in all mines, said the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) Chairmen and Managing Director N Sridhar during the meeting with all area GMs at Singareni Bhavan in Hyderabad on Wednesday.  

Sridhar discussed production and transportation of coal during the past months. “According to the need of coal in the state and other states we will have to increase coal production heavily. Make per day target of coal production to two lakh tonne in all areas,” he suggested.

The new machines have been arranged for clearing overburden in mines. The new mines will be opened and the processing of the works is going on, he added.  

The directors of the company, Chandra Sheker, B.Bhasker Rao, ED coal B Kishan Rao, advisor of coal DN Prasad, Advisory of forest Surender Pandey, General Managers Y Rajeswra Reddy, Anthoni Raja, Nageswara Rao, YGK Murthy and Rushender attended the meeting.
