Stage all set for seeing off Ganesha

Nalgonda: The district administration has made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the Ganesh immersion programme slated on Saturday. 

Nearly 5500 Ganesh idols installed across Nalgonda division would be immersed at Vallabha Cheruvu located on Pangal bypass road and at 14th milestone of NSP canal near Haliya.

The idols of Miryalguda division would be immersed at Vemulapally canal and Wadapally Krishna waters. Also, the idols of Devarakonda division would be immersed at Kondabheemanapally cheruvu and Akkempally balancing reservoir.

In view of availability of water in Nagarjun Sagar Project, officials expecting many devotees at Pushkar Ghat located at backwaters of the project and made required arrangements including lightings, cranes and lives saving swimmers.

Officials also made necessary arrangements for Ganesh immersion at Saddala cheruvu in Suryapet and Musi project in Kethepally mandal in Nalgonda district

The Police department has made elaborate security arrangements for the immersion programme with setting up CCTV cameras and drones to avoid any untoward incidents during the immersion.
