Ganesh immersion begins tomorrow

Rajamahendravaram: Sub-Collector CM Saikanth Varma has said that necessary arrangements were made for the successful completion of Ganesh immersion programme scheduled to be held on September 23.

Reviewing the arrangements here on Wednesday, he said immersion of Ganesh idols would be performed in the sand ramp near Head Water Works even in late night also. 

Two punts along with motor launchies provided at the ramp for immersion purpose.

Necessary lighting, barricading etc also provided. The immersion programme would be held from September 21 to 23. 

Officials of respective departments were asked to work with coordination.

About 500 policemen would participate in bandobust duty, he said.

He appealed to Ganesh pandal organizers to maintain discipline to conduct the programme peacefully.
