Maoist dalam member surrenders

Warangal: A CPI-Maoist member surrendered before the Commissioner of Police V Ravinder here on Wednesday. According to police, Kadavancha Yaka Swamy, native of Thimmampet under Jaffergadh mandal joined the banned outfit in 2016.

He worked as Jangaon’s secretary of Telangana Praja Vedika in 2016. Later he joined the banned outfit and worked as the protection team member of Telangana State Committee secretary Yapa Narayana alias Haribhushan for about five months.

Thereafter he was shifted to press team. The Commissioner of Police said that Rs 1 lakh reward, which Yaka Swamy carries on his head, will be given to him.
