Mala group demands Pranay Act

Kakinada: Andhra Pradesh Mala JAC state co-convener Kota Rammohana Rao demanded that the Government bring about Pranay Act on the lines of Nirbhaya Act to protect people who fall in love and go in for love marriage. 

Speaking at a dharna at the Three Roads Centre at P Gannavaram, he strongly demanded that stern action be taken against Maruthi Rao, father of Amritha, who killed Pranay. In another programme, the BSP leaders led by Kusuma Venkateswara Rao, organized a candle rally. B Raja Rao, Kattula Victor, P Arjuna Rao, N Raghu and others were present.
