Vitero Tiles posts Rs 75 cr revenue

Hyderabad: Vitero Tiles, a tile brand from the city-based Aparna Enterprises Limited recently announced a revenue generation of Rs 75 crore from August 2017 to June 2018, with a Q-o-Q growth of five per cent.

The tile company attributed the growth to its government and private projects undertaken in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka. The government projects include APMSIDC, R&B, AP integrated office complex, Gajwel integrated office complex, APCRDA and APTIDCO Guntur, informed the company.

 Ashwin Reddy, Managing Director, Aparna Enterprises, said: “Such positive response from our customers and the market has boosted our confidence and we will soon be venturing into manufacturing of Glaze Vitrified Tiles (GVT) and Polished Glaze Vitrified Tiles (PGVT).” 

With the launch of new categories, the brand aims to garner larger share in the market. While it finds a higher demand for atlas, georgia, lithos, georgia royal and mykonos cream shades, amongst its existing double charged vitrified tile collection.

“The continuous process of research and development in the raw materials enables us to produce innovative tiles. We are using high level laboratory equipment to ensure total quality assurance of the raw materials used in manufacturing,” said T Chandra Sekhar, Technical Director, Aparna Enterprises. 

Adding further, the official said that the raw materials are sourced from their mines, which are purified in an advanced mineral processing plant. 

The vitero tile facility spread over one million sft, is located at Peddapuram near Kakinada. It has the capacity to manufacture 15,000 square metre of vitero tiles per day.
