Welfare of people priority to govt: Siddha Raghavarao

Kondepi: The state government has highest priority for the welfare of common man and it is only Chandrababu Naidu who can develop the state, announced the Minister for Forests, Environment, Science and Technology Siddha Raghavarao.

He participated in the sixth edition of Janmabhoomi programme held in Valuru village of Tangutur mandal in Kondepi Assembly constituency on Thursday.

The minister praised the chief minister for taking up several public oriented programmes even though the state was in a deficit budget. 

He said that along with the implementation of farmers loan waiver, DWCRA women capital infusion, the chief minister increased the pensions for five times. 

He announced that the CM laid foundation for linking of Krishna and Penna rivers at Nakirekal and said that he will lay foundation for the Ramayapatnam port and paper industry along with the horticulture college and millets research center on January 9. 

He announced that he has taken initiative to establish industries at Donakonda with Rs 800 crore for improving the employment for the locals. 
He assured that the Sangameswaram project will be completed very soon with the cooperation of irrigation minister.

The Kondapi MLA DBV Swamy, district smart lead partner Damacharla Sathya, AJC D MArkandeyulu, fisheries JD Balaram, housing DE Sarma and others also participated in the programme.
