OPS and Bhashyam Little Champs celebrate Christmas

Ongole: The Ongole Public School and Bhashyam Little Champs in Ongole celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ in their school premises on Monday. 

The schools were decorated with colorful stars, ribbons, balloons, cribs and Christmas trees to ignite the festive mood in the children and staff.

The kindergarten children in the Ongole Public School dressed as angels and Santa Claus danced for a song while few other students enacted the birth of Christ. 

The children are thrilled to see Santa Claus, who cut the Christmas cake and distributed to them. 

The principal Kavitha Latha, academic dean M Srinivasa Rao extended the Christmas greetings to the families of staff and students while the vice principal Jemima delivered the Christmas message and explained how the teachings of Jesus Christ are promoting peace and harmony all over the world.

The principal of Bhashyam Little Champs, Suseela invited pastor Dr K Noel John for the Christmas prayer at the campus. He praised the Jesus with the verses from the bible and psalms. 

He cut the Christmas cake and offered blessings to the children and staff while distributing it. 

The children donned the roles of Joseph, Maria, angels, shepherds and other important persons in the bible and acted in the scenes from the birth of the Jesus Christ to the crucifixion. 

The children, their parents and the staff participated in the candle service and shared the sweets as part of the semi-Christmas celebrations.
