Rush at weekly Prajavani programme

 Kakinada: In the weekly grievance cell being conducted on Monday, a large number of people submitted their representations. Public from various places across the district reached district headquarters to submit their representations to District Collector Kartikeya Mishra and Joint Collector A Mallikarjuna.

The newly-constructed Prajavani (grievance hall) hall provided accommodation to the petitioners unlike the earlier system of standing in queue at Collector’s chambers. A total of 460 representations received on the day.

 Many of these are presentations regarding  land and property disputes, seeking house sites, old-age ,disabled pensions, PDS cards, provision of employment, seeking additional help for medical care and others.

Joint Collector A Mallikarjuna and JC-2 Ch Satti Babe also received representations from the public.
