Ayurveda Run on Nov 5

Vijayawada: To mark National Ayurveda Day on November 5, Ayurveda Run would be organised by both state and Central governments.

The run would commence from Gantasala Music College at 5.30 am and proceed up to Madhuranagar Bridge. 

Commissioner for Ayush department, Andhra Pradesh PA Shoba, Regional Research Institute additional director Dr Babu, city Police Commissioner Ch Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, VMC Commissioner J Nivas, Government Ayurveda Hospital superintendent and other officials would participate in the programme. 

At 9.30 am, free Ayurveda medical camp would be organised at Gayatri Function Hall at Kedareswarapeta here. 

Ayurveda manufacturers association would distribute medicines free on the occasion, according to NRS Government Ayurveda College principal KMVD Prasad.
