BJP MLA Dr Akula Satyanarayana stages dharna for AgriGold victims

Rajamahendravaram: BJP  MLA Dr Akula Satyanarayana staged dharna before sub-collector's office here on Wednesday, demanding the state government to do justice to the victims of AgriGold Company immediately. 

Scores of AgriGold victims and BJP activists participated in the protest programme.

Later, the MLA asked Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu to sell AgriGold properties and distribute the amount to AgriGold victims immediately. 

The government decreasing the value of AgriGold year after year, he lamented. In the year 2016, the government showed the value of AgriGold assets are Rs 16,000 crore and later Rs 10,000 crore and in the 2018 the value has come down to Rs 2,200 crore.

The government attitude in decreasing the values year after year is creating doubts among AgriGold victims and people and decreasing the value is nothing but a ploy to takeover the crores worth of properties, he said.  

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu assured the victims to do justice but he failed to fulfill it, the MLA added.

BJP will fight against the government until it did justice to AgriGold victims, he averred.

Later, he submitted a memorandum to sub-collector CM Saikanth Varma. BJP leader LB Sastry, N Padmasri, KB Singh and others were present.
