JC Nagalakshmi orders clearance of pending urges by next week

Ongole: Joint Collector S Nagalakshmi ordered the district level officials of various departments to see that all pending representations from the public with them cleared by the next week.

She conducted a review meeting with the officials after the completion of grievance programme in the CPO conference hall in the Collectorate on Monday.

Nagalakshmi said that there are 28,474 urges from the public pending with various departments in the district. She informed that 24,366 urges are non-financial and 4,108 are financial related urges.

She ordered the concerned officials to take special interest in clearing them and see that no urge is pending by the next week, as Chief Minister is reviewing the status of pending urges every week.

The Joint Collector announced that any person who attains 18 years of age by January 1, 2019 is eligible for registration as a voter. She said that the last date for the registration ends by the end of month and asked every eligible person to register for the vote.

She also announced that the drop boxes were arranged at the tahsildar, RDO offices and Collectorate for dropping the filled in Form 6, 7 and 8 and asked the youth to utilise the service.
