Tadipatri CI, SI suspended

 Tadipatri (Anantapur): Anantapur Range DIG J Prabhakar Rao has issued orders suspending Tadipatri Circle Inspector Surendranath Reddy and Sub-Inspector Ramakrishna Reddy for failing to take preventive measures when clashes broke out between followers of Anantapur MP JC Diwakar Reddy and Prabodhananda Swamy.

The DIG opined that suspended police officials should have prevented the clashes as they very well knew the prevailing hostilities between the warring groups.
