SACET students win prizes in quiz, dance contests held by JNTU Kakinada

Chirala: The students from St Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, Chirala won first and second prizes in technical quiz and dance competitions held by the JNTU Kakinada, announced the college secretary, Vanama Ramakrishna Rao and correspondent S Lakshmana Rao in a statement on Tuesday.

The college principal Dr P Ravi Kumar said that the JNTU Kakinada held various competitions at the University College of Engineering in Narasaraopet on September 17 for the ECE students across affiliated colleges. 

He said that their ECE students’ team of S Rajasekhara Reddy, T Sai Gajendra Rao won the first prize in technical quiz while the team of SK Sharmila and V Divya won the second prize in the same event defeating all other 58 teams. 

He added that in the dance competition between teams from various colleges, S Kamal Basha won the first prize and the team of B Chandu, J Ravi Teja and P Tajuddin Khan won the second prize.

On Tuesday, the college management and HoD of ECE Dr K Jagadeesh Babu appreciated the winners in the technical quiz and dance competitions, at a programme held in the college.
