Online portal to prepare village manifesto soon

Guntur: Former CBI joint director V V Lakshminarayana said that he will launch an online portal to prepare village manifesto soon. Addressing a gathering at Vignan Lara Engineering College in Guntur city on Saturday on the occasion of Engineers’ Day celebrations, Lakshminarayana appealed to the villagers to update all their problems and requirements to prepare the village manifesto. He exhorted the voters to support those who resolved their problems in the elections and asked them to take a written assurance from contestants to solve their problems.

Stating that voting is a powerful weapon to change society, he urged the voters to exercise their franchise in a free and fair manner. He underlined that the young leaders should join active politics to eradicate the corruption.  He also suggested the youth to read life history of Swamy Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi, Mokshagundam Visveswaraiah and Abdul Kalam and draw inspiration from them.  Later, Vignan Group chairman Dr Lavu Rathaiah felicitated Lakshminarayana.
