Seminar on opportunities in US held at SRK Institute of Technology

Vijayawada: The Indo-American Student Council, USA and Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu (APNRT) jointly organised a seminar at SRK Institute of Technology on the topic ‘Higher Education in the United States- opportunities and advantages’.

Indo-American Student Council, USA CEO Annavarapu Kumar said that every year thousands of students were going abroad to pursue higher education and year after year the number was increasing. 

He said that students were pursuing higher education at USA, Australia, Germany, UK and other countries and getting jobs and settling in those countries. 

He said that many Telugus had settled in the US in good companies at various places. He said that there were 4,500 Universities and the students were joining in 30 to 35 Universities by processing through consultants. 

He said that awareness should be created among the students about the Universities, courses and the facilities they were offering. The APNRT was always extending its helping hand to the students to guide them, he added.

College principal Dr M Ekambram Naidu, faculty of various departments and others were present.
