Directors complain against Brahmin body chairman
Guntur: Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation directors went to the TDP state office and complained about unilateral decisions taken by the chairman of the the corporation Vemuri Anand Surya on Wednesday.
The corporation directors alleged that the corporation chairman was not taking recommendation letters given by the concerned MLAs. They submitted a memorandum to the TDP state programmes committee chairman VV Chowdary. The APBWC directors, Gumma Nagaraju, Duvvuri Suresh, Yamijala Narasimha Murthy and Nepaka Padmavathi and district coordinators Siripurapu Sridhar and others wrote a letter addressed to the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and submitted it to Chowdary.
Later, they complained to the TDP party leaders in the state party office in Guntur. They alleged that when Anand Surya was neglecting the letters given by the MLAs, the beneficiaries were not getting justice. They complained that instead of earlier posts, Anand Surya had been creating district level organisers, mandal level organisers and municipal level organisers posts and appointing Rastreeya Brahmmana Sanghatana activists in these posts to strengthen his own position.
They further alleged that because of the unilateral decisions, the corporation was unable to render better services to the Brahmins. They urged the Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu to regularise the corporation to get Brahmins votes in the coming Assembly elections.
