Hyderabad: As part of the 73rd Independence Day celebrations Forum Sujana Mall launched its "#LetsSaveWater" campaign with an objective to create public awareness about saving water.

It has undertaken various initiatives to save water like installing a sewage treatment plant (STP) during its inception and are recycling 400 kl of water every day which helped it in saving 300 ml of water till date.

The mall uses the recycled water for gardening, cooling tower and washroom flushing on a daily basis. Considering the alarming situation of water crisis in the city during the last summer, they have undertaken additional initiatives to decrease daily water consumption from 350 KLD to 300 KLD by installing 150 aerators which control the flow of water at all wash rooms.

Speaking on the occasion, Tanveer Shaikh, cluster head, said "We at forum take every possible step to save water at the mall and on this 73rd Independence Day we are taking this initiative to educate and encourage our customers to save water every day".

On eve of Independence Day, guests were seen taking a pledge to "save water" and sharing water-saving ideas on their social media pages through a unique engagement activity organised by the mall.
