State Legal Service Authority sensitises children on environment protection

Hyderabad: The State Legal Service Authority (SLSA) of the Telangana High Court on Thursday organised awareness programmes for school students across the State to protect the environment during the 73rd Independence Day celebrations.

The authority representatives called for distribution of saplings to students. Among them were Tukaram, Metropolitan Sessions Judge, who conducted the programme in Mont Ford School, Jahanuma, government high schools in Bazarghat and Mallepally, Nampally Vyayamshala, Devibagh, and Gowtham Model School, Red Hills. The representatives explained to students the importance of raising saplings after distributing them.

Among the authority officials who participated in the programmes were Swathi Reddy, senior civil judge and secretary of the authority, senior civil judges Harisha, Kshama Deshpande, Lakshmi kumara, M K Padmavati. Several advocates Md Faseeuddin, Rama Subhadra, Padamavati, Raisa Begum, Gokul, Kavita, Sandhya Rani, Srilatha. They all planted saplings in schools.
