Sewerage overflow causes great distress

Gachibowli: Overflowing of sewage from a manhole on Gachibowli-Jondapur road is causing a great distress to motorists and commuters to travel from this area. It is also causing traffic jams at times.

Sampath, a commuter, said that the drain had been brimming over for several days and the situation was very worse now. As it is a highway and as the sewage water is overflowing all over the road, and it is becoming difficult for pedestrians to cross the road which has become a slippery stretch.

There is also a chance of the motorists skidding at the place, says Ravi, a local. People are urging the officials concerned to take immediate action and improve the drain system over here.
