Sankalp Yatra will begin on Oct 22, says Madhavaram

Kukatpally: The Mahatma Gandhi Sankalp Yatra in Malkajgiri will take place from October 22 to November 29. This was stated here on Monday by Medchal-Malkajgiri BJP unit president Madhavaram Kantha Rao.

The yatra would be led by him. Rao said the yatra was intended to create public awareness on Gandhiji yatra which is being replicated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi after his re-election.

He urged people to take part. The yatra would draw public attention on the welfare schemes being implemented by the central government, besides Swachh Bharat, awareness on the ban of plastic items. A free medical camp would also be organised during the yatra.

Madhavaram informed that MLC Ramchandar Rao, former MLA NVSS Prabhakar, Shekharji, Malla Reddy, Mohan Reddy and others would participate in the programme. He appealed to all the party leaders to make the yatra a grand success.
