Sand smuggling from Kagna river unabated

Basheerabad: The illegal transportation of sand has been going on unabated from the Kagna river at Navandgee. Villagers are alleging that no official is trying to contain the activity and that is why the miners are intensifying the digging.

The miners are preparing sand dumps near the ZPH School, Navandgee and transporting during the nights. As the district administration is emphasising on the speedy of construction of toilets, the miners are saying that the sand is being used for the purpose.
