No streetlights, drive on this stretch dangerous

Old Alwal: The road towards Indian Oil Petrol Bunk in Malla Reddy Colony is posing risk at nights due to poor light. B Bhargav, a commuter, said, "The busy stretch doesn't have streetlights. It is becoming dangerous as vehicles often meet with accidents.

The road is narrow. There are chances of speeding vehicles losing balance and falling off." K Anmol, a pedestrian, said, "The streetlights have not been functioning from the past 10 days.

It becomes difficult to pass during nights, and due to the monsoon season, the roads are even slippery and it may lead to accidents. There should be streetlights put on, especially in heavy roads.''
