Deputy Speaker Padma Rao Goud launches new road works at Chilukalguda
Secunderabad: Deputy Speaker Padma Rao Goud laid foundation stone for the CC road works at Chilukalguda on Wednesday. New roads would be laid in Chilukalguda, Badi Masjid, Srinivas Nagar, Kindi Basti, Erukala Basti areas with an estimated cost of Rs 40 lakh. Speaking on the occasion, Padma Rao said that priority was being given to laying new roads in the constituency.
Apart from laying new internal roads at a cost of Rs 9 crore, five main roads in the Secunderabad constituency would be developed with help of private organisations with an estimated cost of Rs 38 lakh, he added. He instructed the officials to commence the works immediately after the inauguration and complete it before the set deadline without compromising on quality standards.
GHMC Deputy Commissioner Ravi Kumar, local corporator Samala Hema, Chilukalguda police inspector Bala Gangi Reddy, Jalamandali GM Ramana Reddy, GHMC EE Pramod Kumar, Krishna, Paramesh, local TRS leaders and others attended the programme.
