All India Students Federation, All India Youth Federation demand stringent laws

ECIL: All India Students' Federation (AISF) and All India Youth Federation (AIYF) took out a rally from Kapra Municipal Office to ECIL Cross Roads on Wednesday demanding amendments in CPC and CRPC Acts.

AIYF Medchal president T Satya Prasad, AIYF asst secretary Dharmendra and ECIL secretary Mahesh expressed concern stating miscreants were blatantly harassing girls and women without fear of law and police.

"It's high time the issue is discussed in Parliament. Stringent laws should be implemented to prevent sexual harassments and murders," they added. Student leaders Ramu, Seetha Ram Reddy, Sowjanya, Kiran, Praveen, Srikanth, Kumar, Ramya, Seersha, Vasantha, Aparna and others were present.
