Hemanth Suspected VJ Chitra Of Having Extra-Marital Affair With Co-star?

It is public knowledge that Tamil small screen actress VJ Chitra's husband Hemanth Kumar was arrested by Tami Nadu police two days after the actress committed suicide. He is charged for abetting the actress's suicide.

Chitra's mother had alleged that Hemanth had physically harmed her daughter. Chitra and her husband had differences regarding some matter and had quarreled with each other moments before her death, it is learnt. Chitra who got offended by this, is believed to have resorted to suicide after the incident.

We hear that Hemanth had objected to some matter concerning her professional life. Particularly, he is said to have suspected her about her intimacy with one of her co-stars in the serial. Even on the day when Chitra committed suicide, Hemanth had accompanied her to the sets and had some arguments with her, reports said.

He had questioned her integrity in front of other artists on the sets. Obviously, the public humiliation is said to have hurt the actor. Even after returning to the hotel, the two had arguments. It is also learnt that Hemanth was not happy about a promo scene of a serial in which Chitra had worked. After these happenings, Hemanth had asked Chitra to stop acting and had threatened that he would divorce in case she continued to act.

People who heard about this incident have concluded that Chitra committed suicide after she faced humiliation from a person whom she loved and married. It remains to be seen how the law will take its course.
