Darbar Trailer On This Day: Murugadoss Update For Rajini fans

Rajinikanth recently celebrated his birthday. To mark the special occasion, the makers of his next movie decided to launch the movie on the same day. Rajinikanth's film with Siva went on floors on December 12 and fans were thrilled. The film is titled Thalaiva 168 tentatively and will see the yesteryear actors Kushboo and Meena share screen space again on the big screen.

Now, we all know that Rajini has wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming film Darbar which promises to have all the trademarks of a Rajini movie. The post production work is in progress and the makers are planning to release the movie around Pongal to make it a festive treat and also cash in on the holidays. Now, Darbar maker Murugadoss has posted an update on social media. He took to his Twitter handle to announce that the theatrical trailer of Rajinikanth's Darbar will be released on December 16. Just a day to go and fans who heard this news have already begun countdown. We need not tell you how much hype Darbar teaser created. The trailer, we are sure, will give you a peek into what to expect from the much awaited Rajini movie.

The film is produced under the Lyca Productions banner. While Sivan has handled the cinematography of Darbar, Anirudh has scored the music. Darbar will see the Tamil superstar play the role of a policeman after a long time. Darbar will also feature Suniel Shetty, Nayanthara and Prateik Babbar in key roles.
