The Tashkent Files Gets A Poster And Release Date

The first look poster of multi-starrer The Tashkent Files is here along with its release date. The film stars an incredible ensemble of Mithun Chakraborty, Naseeruddin Shah, Shweta Basu, Pankaj Tripathi, Vinay Pathak, Mandira Bedi, Pallavi Joshi, Ankur Rathee and Prakash Belawadi.

The official handle of the film dropped the first look poster along with release date on social media. Directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and bankrolled by Zee Studios, the film releases on 12th April 2019. The Tashkent Files is about the mysterious circumstances under which the second Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri died in Russia.

After the much controversial trailer release of The Accidental Prime Minister, another film is all set to raise a storm in political circles ahead of Lok Sabha polls this year.

The demise of Lal Bahadur Shastri is one big controversial conspiracy laced debate and the film will explore two narratives, which is known to the audience and the second one which is mysterious.
