YS Jagan launches YSR Jagananna Saswatha Bhoo Hakku-Bhoo Raksha scheme at Takkellapadu village

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday launched the prestigious 'YSR Jagananna Saswatha Bhoo Hakku - Bhoo Raksha Pathakam' for conducting survey of lands across the state with the state of art technology. CM visited Takkellapadu village near Jaggaiahpet of Krishna district and inaugurated the survey of lands by operating a drone. The state government will spend Rs.1000 crore for the resurvey of lands. Previously, the survey was conducted during the British rule more than 100 years.

Re survey of land started in Takkellapadu village as a pilot project about seven months ago in Krishna district and completed successfully. The officials have explained how the pilot project has been completed in Takkellapadu village and how it useful to check the land disputes and court cases pending. The land survey will be conducted with the help of Survey of India, which has expertise in surveys in the country with the state of art technology and satellite images. The latitude and longitudes of the lands will be measured perfectly and unique ID number will be given to the owners of the land.

The Chief Minister Jagan inspected the stall arranged in the village on YSR Jagananna Saswatha Bhoo Hakku-Bhoo Raksha Pathakam. Earlier, the district administration has made elaborate arrangements for the visit of CM to Takkellapadu village and inauguration of the resurvey scheme. Hundreds of policemen were deployed in the village as part of the security arrangements for the visit of CM, ministers and other officials. Revenue department, municipal departments and Panchayat Raj department and village/ward secretariats will work in co ordination for the survey work across the State.
