Workshop on cybersecurity held at IIIT Sri City in Tirupati
Tirupati: Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Sri City and Data Security Council of India (DSCI) have organised an Industry-oriented workshop on Cyber Security Technologies and Applications on Saturday. Senior executives from Ernst and Young, Accenture, Infosys etc., have delivered speeches and interacted.
Delivering keynote address, Dr Hoda Al Khzaimi, Director, Center of Cyber Security, New York University in Abu Dhabi, explained security trends and precisely the importance for hardware cryptography design and implementations cryptanalysis.
Muthu Raja Sankar, Managing Director Accenture Security highlighted the opportunities. The Cyber Security market in Asia Pacific, which stood at $17 billion in 2015 likely to reach $48 billion in 2025. The increasing incidents of cyber-attacks and protection efforts globally would create $35 billion revenue opportunity in India.
LN. Kaliyaperumal, Vice-President & Head of Infosys explained the emergence of Threat Intelligence Platforms to support vulnerability management while Priya Madhavan, Consultant, NASSCOM Future skills (Cyber Security) highlighted the efforts taken by NASSCOM cyber security for creating professionals to meet the growing demand.
