Will introduce reforms in education system: Minister Suresh

Kurnool: Education Minister A Suresh said that the State government will bring several reforms in the education system. He participated as a chief guest for the non-teaching employees' organisation meeting organised at Rayalaseema University on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister stated that the government will strive to resolve the problems of the non-teaching staff, who are rendering services in the varsity. Suresh made it clear that the educational institutions are not business centres and their main motto is to impart knowledge.

He assured varsity's non-teaching staff of holding a meeting with the Higher Education department officials for resolving their issues. Suresh mentioned that he will take steps to fill vacant teacher and lecturer posts in the government institutions based on the need.

The Minister promised to develop facilities in Rayalaseema University. Kurnool and Nandyal MPs Sanjeev Kumar and Pocha Bhramananda Reddy, Kodumur MLA J Sudhakar, Rayalaseema University V-C Vara Prasad Rao and others participated.
