Vijayawada: Siddhartha student excels in athletics tourney

Vijayawada: T Padma Pranitha, studying in PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science excelled in athletics and secured medals at state-level athletic tournament which was held from June 22 to 24.

The tournament was organised by Andhra Pradesh State Athletic Association at Nagarjuna University, said college principal Dr M Ramesh on Wednesday. He said Padma Pranitha won silver medal in High Jump and bronze medal in Long Jump at the tournament.

The college director, V Babu Rao, physical director Dr N Srinivas Rao, coach D Vinayak Prasad and others congratulated Padma Pranitha on winning medals.
