Traffic restrictions tomorrow

Nellore: District police have imposed restrictions on movement of traffic in city on May 23 in connection with counting. There will be traffic diversion in the city that move via Podalakur road where counting takes place at DKW College.

The police allocated separate parking places in the city for vehicles of candidates, agents and counting staff. District Superintendent of Police (SP) Aishwarya Rastogi said that vehicles from Podalakur area have to park at Bara Shaheed Dargah premises.

Vehicles coming from Irukalalamma temple side have to park between Batwadipalem and Kasturi Devi Gardens and vehicles from Atmakur, Muthukur and Gudur have to park at Kasturi Devi School, Venugopalaswamy College grounds and also at Magunta Layout OP area. Vehicles from city have to park at Sarvodaya College premises located opposite to the RTC bus station.

RTC buses from Gudur side have to move via Ayyappa Temple, mini bypass road, Annamayya Circle, Magunta Layout and KVR Petrol pump. RTC buses from Podalakur have to move via Ambedkar Bhavan at Kondayapalem gate, KVT Petrol pump and RTC complex. Traffic movement has been restricted between Podalakur Road Junction, Batwadipalem and KVR Junction.
